Hi lesley, Would you like to introduce yourself?

Yes! I’m Lesley, a 41-year-old wife and mother of one very active 7 year old boy!

Why did you reach out to work with CMP, what were your initial goals?

I was ultimately fed up with my body and a lack of results! After spending the last 2 years with a small group private PT place and not seeing very good results i needed more help. The group training was all exercise-based (weightlifting and exercise classes) and as much as I loved the people and the camaraderie there was no input into nutrition which is where I knew I needed help the most.

No one held you accountable every day and daily steps were never mentioned, so i decided to look at other coaches. I found Chris on social media and looked at his transformations. As impressive as the results were, it was the realistic time frames that appealed to me. None of this…. look amazing in 6 weeks only to put it all back on and the one lady of Chris’s that stood out was exactly how long I thought it would take me. I also loved the honesty of “do what I tell you to do and I will get you the results but you have to put the hard work in” that was evident in Chris’s approach.

But my motivations were a bit deeper than just losing weight, i’d had a major setback in life and just needed a reset. My confidence and mood were at an all-time low.

I knew what to do at the gym both weightlifting and cardio to train on my own but i needed more, I wanted accountability, direction and someone to take a lead on nutrition and tell me what to do. My initial goals with Chris were to get a handle on that then to start to lose weight and tone up.

What were the motivating factors in wanting to achieve these goals?

To get my life back again, my confidence and mood from my setback last year. Regarding food,  I have yo yo dieted since I was in my 20’s and I didn’t want to do it anymore! I wanted a plan I could stick to and one I could build a new me around for the rest of my life. With a bad neck injury 8 years ago and very bad post-natal depression and PTSD after the very premature birth of our son I wanted to get the years back with him that I missed out on at the start. I also wanted a kick ass body in my 40s and abs!!

Can you tell us about the results that you’ve achieved with us?

The results have been amazing!!! Hard work but I have loved every minute of it (I can say that more now probably than at the beginning). I have lost 10kg, am a size 8 if not smaller and I have had to buy a whole new wardrobe!!

And what impact has this had on your day-to-day life?

Exercise now just fits in around work and everything else and I really enjoy it (even cardio after weightlifting ). I try and drag my husband and wee boy out for walks with me whenever I can. Usually at the weekend as a family, we are all out and about doing something now exercise-related. I love attempting to teach my boy about the right fats, proteins and carbohydrates. I find everything so much easier now 10kg lighter, my knees don’t flare up as much as they used to!

What’s been the biggest thing you’ve learnt from working with us?from working with us?

Its possible!!! That body you lost years ago or one you’ve never dreamed of having you will get it if you put in the work and follow everything that is set for you. I’ve learned a new way of life going forward.

It’s been the best money that spent on fitness and i’d definitely recommend Chris to anyone! Just do what he tells you to do and the results will follow!
